Britney Harris joined Boys & Girls Clubs of Decatur as Chief Executive Officer in September 2024, bringing over 15 years in the Boys & Girls Club movement.

Britney is a proud BGCA Alumni member and her passion for the community and kids led her to the Club at an early age. She volunteered and worked in Clubs as a Jr. Staff and Youth Development Professional through high school and while attending Stephen F. Austin University in Texas. In 2010, Britney began working full time for the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Texas and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston. She held multiple positions, providing a first-class program and has been a pivotal part in creating local initiatives and programs that increased staff training and development, overall program quality, and improved the Club member experience.

She has received numerous awards for her self-sacrificing work within the community, such as the Houston Texans – Texans Care “That Deserves a Crown Award”, Texas Education Agency – Afterschool Resource Network Outstanding Leadership, and recently a graduate of Boys and Girls Clubs of America Leadership Next Program.

In her spare time, Britney enjoys traveling, scrapbooking, and spending time with her
family.
